The picture of my t.v. shrunk about 2-3 inches horizontally, and everything is skinny. What happened?

your picture tube is about to blow out. time for a new t.v. or you can get it replaced. i've had my t,v, go out on me like that twice.

If you have a widescreen TV, you're watching an anamorphic widescreen video and the TV isn't set to full screen mode.

If you have a regular TV, the video is anamorphic widescreen and the DVD player needs to be set to letterbox for 3:4 ratio TVs.

If this is neither the case, then your TV would need servicing.

someone messed with the levels. go to the menu on the tv and you can adjust the screen back to normal
