  1. Sounds to me like your tube is no longer any good, but I'm not a tv repair man, you have to take it to one of them.

  2. There is probably something wrong with the signal or satellite. Has there been any storms? Lightning and Thunder Storms are probably the main cause if there was one recently. Lightning, as you know, is electricity and since TV's are frequently plugged in, it could have gotten what is called a 'shock'.

If there have been no thunderstorms recently, then, are there trees around your house? If so, check the wire. The wire  carries the signals, as you hopefully and probably, know. If the wire goes through trees, the signal may be getting malfunctioned.

If there are no trees or lightning or thunder,  then the next question is: Do you have a satellite? If you do that may be the problem. Here are a few reasons why:

                             (a) Your satellite may be crooked.

                             (b) Is it facing the Southern sky? It needs to be facing the South to function. Call whomever you bought the satellite from and ask them for service.

                             (c) There may be something wrong with how the satellite is positioned. Again, call whomever you bought the satellite from and ask for service.

                                            I hope this helps!

So remember, check your weather, your signal and your satellite. I work with electronics every day and was once a weather woman. I work with TV's and know quite a lot about them. At the place I work, we have a motto that every one uses in cases like these: The three S's. Storms.      Signal and Satellite. Check all three and after you have found the malfunction and called for service or fixed it, be happy!!! :)

                                         Hope this helps... AGAIN!!!!!!
