  1. Ive had horrible symptoms just from missing one pill in a month (and i was single and inactive at the time!) which included wierd pains, dizziness and some heartburn. As well as this my cycle got messed up - i had three within one month!

so the moral of my story is dont stress about it yet. It could be coming off the pill and stress that is making you get this stuff. If youve hhad unprotected s*x then yes it is possible that you are pregnant but on the other hand, you might not be. Stress can make your period later so its best to wait a little bit longer, then take a test and see how you go from there.

  2. Sounds like there's a possibility that you may be pregnant.  I went off the pill almost 4 weeks ago and my husband and I are trying for baby #2.  My periods are always regular (every 28 days) but I just got my period today and it's only been 21 days.  I hope you get the result you're looking for.

  3. OMG, check my q's..just asked similar question!! i come off the pill 1 month ago, 6 days late and positve preg test!

(i've been pregnant before after a month aswell)

but yeah, wait a few days and take a test!

    good luck..

  4. Listen to your sister:)

  5. hard to say I have been taking lots of test and I am hoping all to early spare yourself the scare or not scare and wait to be sure

  6. have you done a test? it seems the cards are stacked up to say that you are probably pregnant.

  7. Mine took about a year to settle themselves into some kind of regular cycle when I stopped taking the pill !!

  8. it can take awhile for your cycle to get back. I just stopped taking mine last week so we'll see...of course we WILL use protection, you know, just to avoid the whole "maybe I'm pregnant scenario", doesn't sound very appealing to me, maybe I'm nuts.

  9. Wait to take a test in about two weeks not one it will give your body more time to adjust to being of the fake hormone.   Now don't forget that the pill can actually change the way your system used to act if may not be the same again, so new symptoms may appear.  Dizziness heartburn being very tired, more moody, sore b***s, it can make your body and you believe you are pregnant.  But it is possible to be come pregnant either if you just have come off the pill or you are on it.

With my first pregnancy I because pregnant on the pill and didn't know it! I was very sick lost the baby a month and a bit into the pregnancy.  But if you are unsure and its bothering you there is no harm in making a doctors appointment for next week to get checked out sometimes just knowing there is nothing wrong will put your mind at ease.  And stressing over not getting your period will make it late.

  10. Slight cramping, dizzy spells and heartburn can all be symptomatic of early pregnancy: but if youve just come off the pill and had unprotected s*x, it might be the worry and thought of being pregnant which is causing this. The only way to really tell though is to test, so it really depends if you want to try and test now, you might get a positive or a negative, and if its negative, then test in a few more days time.

There can be such a thing as a false negative (not enough of the pregnancy hormone hCG in your urine yet) but very very rarely a false positive.

Ideally as you have just come off the pill, I would say wait....buuuuut waiting is an absolute killer! So if it will put your mind at rest, go and take a pregnancy test.

Best of luck, and I hope you get the result you are hoping for :)

  11. Maybe waiting for some days is the better one.
