You should of asked your doctor or you should read the pamphlet that comes with it..  If you were put on that pill for contraceptive reasons then yes you will be safe without one..

If you are married and don't feel as though you need protection from sexually transmitted diseases then...no. The pill should be plenty of protection from unwanted pregnancy...if you are taking them correctly. That means everyday around the same time....according to the instructions on your package.
