Self sowing is when plants take care of seeding by themselves without intervention. Sowing seeds over a large area by scattering them manually or by hand is called broadcast seeding. Drill seeding is when mechanical devices are used to make furrows into the earth to drop seeds in them. Propogation is when plats grow by vegetative methods rather than through seeds.
