  1. The motor that does the rotating might have died, or become jammed - or the plate fell off the grips / got jammed / lost friction.

    Depends on the design really.

  2. Take the plate off and watch the square drive to see if it turns with nothing on it (make sure there is something in the microwave, even if only a cup of water).

If the drive doesn't turn, open the door and turn it by hand. They have a gear that is supposed to reverse the direction each time. This may be just stuck and turning it by hand may fix it.

Other than that its down to opening it up and this is best left to someone experienced.

you can get much information in this website, If you will check anyone blue link in website.

  4. Mine did too! Mine has a little three armed plastic part that holds the plate. The center of the arm snaps into a little hole. If yours has something similar, try aligning the center "button" and pushing it firmly down into the hole. Make sure the plate is positioned correctly.

I've tried this on mine, and it still doesn't work. It's a GE, model # JES738WJ02. I don't think it's worth trying to get it repaired, so I just make sure I rotate the items manually throughout the cooking cycle if necessary. Yeah, it's a pain in the rear when the appliance is SUPPOSED to perform this task.

Such is life and today's appliances, I guess.

  5. It's probably belt driven.

    Get out the s***w drivers.

  6. I bet at least one of you accidentally hit the switch on the microwave that turns the turntable rotator off and on
