The players in Pakistan lack professionalism, says http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Intikhab-Alam-c64380 – Cricket News Update
Intikhab Alam, the former coach of the national team, has slammed the Pakistani cricketers for their inconsistent performances in international cricket and said that the players are not ready to work hard.
Over the last couple of years, the Green Shirts have been doing a reasonable job at the highest stage of the sport, winning a number of Test and limited-overs series. Pakistan whitewashed http://www.senore.com/Cricket/United-Arab-Emirates-c3033 (UAE)
last year, which is regarded among their greatest achievements in the longer format of the game.

While talking to a sports channel in Pakistan last night, the former captain criticised the approach of the national players, who he believes are not prepared to give their hundred percent.
“Our players don't bother to work hard. We have state of the art facilities here in Pakistan, but one must have the skill to utilise them to good effect. Our domestic cricket has progressed significantly in the recent past,” Intikhab expressed.
The former cricketer further commented about the rumours of rift between Misbah-ul-Haq and http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Mohammad-Hafeez-c76898 and said that the media should behave in a more responsible manner.
“The players in Pakistan lack professionalism. You can't ask them to compete with world-class teams. Our media has done its bit to cause rifts among the players,” the former Pakistan captain added. “Every baseless news is made public. It is a shame for us
to see Misbah and Hafeez appearing on media and clarifying. Our media is to be blamed for this.”
As per some media reports, Hafeez and http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Davenell-Frederick-Whatmore-c52571, the coach of the national team, are conspiring against Misbah. However, both Misbah and Hafeez, who are currently playing the President’s One-Day Trophy 2012-13, have categorically denied all such reports.
