  1. Thats a question for a debate. It is likly to get worse over the coming moths due to the credit crunch and i think that the UK will go into a major recession in the coming months/years due to the lack of work avalable for the citezens. Most building firms are laying off most of their staff due to the cash shortage and it won't be long untill all the little shops (i.e fruit and veg shops and delis) will close due to lack of buisness and competition. Also with the price of oil, that will weaken the british economy then the pound will weaken and be classed as a recession/credit crunch.
