The power button on my dell went to green to orange when i turn it on?

I got a dell optiplex GX270, everything worked on it for awhile. and now when i turn it on. instead of the green light it appears orange...=/

Maybe it's defaulting to Hibernation mode.  Did you turn off the computer without properly shutting it down first?

I've never heard of the actual machine being orange, i know the monitor button turns orange if the computer is off. maybe its on standby.

But did it have any problems? Is the computer working or is dead?
