What legal action I can take?? Urgent!!

The power of the steering wheel just gone while I am driving my new Hold Astra, just on road a week!! Just suddenly I can't turn my steering wheel!!

Really Really lucky that no accident happen!!

I just want to know even it is fixed, how could Holden sure this will not happen again!! Just Imagine while I and driving 100km/h on the Highway and the steering wheel can NOT turn suddenly!! It is really affecting my life, I don't want to die because of the steering wheel can not turn suddenly!!

I want my life protected and I am very afraid to drive that car again, what legal action I can take or what can I do??? Thanks for all your help.

  1. A 2007 Astra should still be under warranty providing it has been serviced as required .Take it back to your Holden dealer .


  2. I dont think you can take legal action, take it back to the dealer to have it fixed or replaced if its under warranty. This sounds like a second hand car you have bought, did you have an inspection done before you bought the car?  If it was bought privately and the manufacturers warranty has expired then its up to you to get it fixed.

  3. Warranty..........you have to give the dealership the opportunity to correct the problem before you try and do anything and if you try something now you will not win plus no one will take the case................
