  1. 1.

  2. 1) It directs the production of enzymes.

Now remember the central dogma of genetics:

Genes (DNA) -> mRNA -> Protein (All enzymes are proteins)

Genes (DNA) -> transcibed -> translated = protein

This answer though is a little misleadind. DNA does not directly dictate which genes are expressed (which genes are going to be transcriped and then translated into enzymes). These are regulated by transciption factors, which are themselves enzymes (proteins). These factors are the ones that direct the production of enzymes.

    Other things to note:

The regulation of enzyme production happens at the transciption level. Since creating enzymes is extremely energy costly.

  3. 1) Directs the prodution of enzymes. via transcription and translation
