  1. There are a number of reasons. Some magazines, quite rightly, follow the Press Complaints Commission Code of Practice and won't publish photos of children without their parents consent.

Those magazines that only blur out the faces of children on some occasions usually have a good working relationship with the celeb and want to keep in their good books for future scoops.

Some celeb kids faces are never blurred out because the parents have previously allowed the kids to be photographed (for example at premieres), so any occasion in future is considered open season on publishing the pix in full.

As a journalist, in my opinion, kids should never be photographed without their parents' permission. To photograph in schools we now have to have written permission from parents.

It's the way it should be... but sadly there will always be money-grabbing paparazzi and magazines who don't think twice about publishing pix of children... sometimes makes me ashamed to be a journalist.

  2. I think if they don't have the parents permission to print them, they have to blur them out.

  3. Some papers and magazines respect their privacy, as they may get kidnapped and stuff like that.

Other magazines couldn't care less about their well being basically.

  4. depends if the parents consent i think
