The printer cuts the foil and prints a stripe on...

I enjoy using this printer for printing ribbons. But today the printer prints a continues stripe on the ribbon about 1cm from the left side of the ribbon. At the same place the foil is almost totally cut in 2 pieces.How is this possible? I cleaned everything and tested different ribbons and foils but the problem remains. I also checked to see if the foil is touching something sharp but i could find anything.Help... what can this be?
