The printer ink does not

the printer ink does not flow thru the filters in the printhead housing. it seems that the residual inks have dried up and blocked the filters / little pockets that the heads of the ink cartridge sit in wile loaded in the printer. Is there a fluid that will dissolve the dried inks ?
