  2. b.  Mountains are the best example of this.  Erosion makes them smaller (i.e. Appalachians over millions of years have been worn down from giant mountains to present day sizes)

    However, it should be noted that Erosion also creates land in new places when deposition occurs.

  3. b) Over a massive timescale, land is constantly being uplifted by tectonic activity, then worn down by weathering processes, as slopes are more susceptible to erosion due to the action of gravity. For instance, one day the Himalayas will be eroded down to a low level. In millions and millions of years of course.
