Question:

The quest for good audio - PD150 vs GL2/MA300

Have been dissappointed with the noise from my Sign Video XLR-PRO on TRV-900.   Bypassing the XLR-PRO definately improves the audio.  In looking for a second camera, I had settled on a GL2 with it's MA300 XLR adapter.  However, AFAIK, the MA300 is unbalanced.  With the PD150 on firesale, it's tempting to go with it instead of the GL2.  I'm not sure if the PD150 is balanced but I could use the Phantom power. From strictly an audio perspective (I'm well read on the video differences thanks to the many postings here and elsewhere), can anyone give guidance on the PD150 XLR block vs the GL2 MA300? I use Sennheiser Evolution 100 wireless, Audio Technica 835b shotgun, and Studio Projects B1 condenser microphones. TIA
