  1. Central fuel tank , and the wings are strung together on the fuselage their , calnick is right.


  2. that's where the landing gear and the center fuel tank are in the plane. In a passenger jet there is also the bagage compartment there

  3. There is the wing center section (or wing box) which attaches the two wings together under the fuselage and provides an additional fuel tank.

    Underneath the wing center section on the 777 are the air conditioning packs.

    The packs are covered by a fairing.

  5. Belly fairings. Look up the Citation X (10). Its a fancy way to hide the gear bulges and other stuff. They do have some significant areodynamic pupose. On the X it really does allot.
