What kinds of people are actually good at sales?

People with thick skins?

I have to imagine there's a lot of *** kissing to be done..

  1. A salesperson is friendly and treats people with respect.


  2. Good sales people look at their job as a partnership with the customer. They are working together to find a solution to a person's needs. The customer says no when the price is mentioned but a good sales person hears "you have not given me a good enough reason to say yes. Tell me more" Sales requires a good deal of creativity and product knowledge. Good sales people believe in their product or service and want to make believers out of other people.  

  3. You need to be friendly and good looking.

    Remember hostess are always good looking because they sell the company service.
