  1. well...since three people have already answered, all I have to say is that they are right!!

  2. Well don't forget Popeye - he said that too.

  3. Exodus 3:13-14, Moses said to God, "Suppose I go to the Israelites and say to them, 'The God of your fathers has sent me to you,' and they ask me, What is his name?' then what shall I tell them?" God said to Moses, "I AM WHO I AM. This is what you are to say to the Israelite: 'I AM has sent me to you.'"

  4. Renston......i do tell that sometimes

  5. I am that I am is one English translation of the response God used in the Bible when Moses asked for his name (Exodus 3:14). It is one of the most famous verses in the Torah. Hayah means "existed" or "was" in Hebrew; "ehyeh" is the first person singular present/future form. Ehyeh asher ehyeh is generally interpreted to mean I am that I am (King James Bible and others), yet, as indicated, is most literally translated as "I-shall-be that I-shall-be."

  6. Yahweh from Exodus in the bible
