So, does this mean that

a) John Lynch is also evil, or

b) The Patriots are not evil, or

c) The Patriots were evil, but now that they've got John Lynch, they're no longer evil, or

d) John Lynch is now evil because he's signed with the Patriots, or

d) Its only Bill Belichick and Tom Brady that are evil, but its easier to just say the entire Patriots' team, until now, or

e) [AARP-related joke here]

Two weeks ago I read a million posts on here about what a great guy John Lynch was. Daily, I see a million posts about how evil and a bunch of jerks the Patriots are.

Where's the mixup? And would John Lynch go to a team that really was just a bunch of jerks? Or has this one move by John Lynch completely changed your opinion of him?

  1. I would say that John Lynch is hoping for another ring before retiring. So, yes, that now makes him evil. D.

  2. PATRIOTS SUCK!

  3. Lynch is one of the best to ever play his position.  Appreciate his talent, and forget about all the jawboning. The joy is in the excellence of the game - regardless of who the best play for

  4. I'm pretty tired of the New England trash talking. It's sad that nowadays in sports, everyone hates the greatest teams only because they are better then their own team.

  5. pats are like the yanks, they spend money but they will never win another title, they are in the past you will see, they wont win a ring they are cheaters!

  6. Hater parents have hater kids...

People hate whoever is the best and that happens to be the Pats.

  7. All this means is they just made an older defense a little bit older.  Lynch will put his hat on a few receivers and backs and he's still got some "stick" and the fans will say, "Wow."  But at the end of the day their defense just got older, that's all.

    I'll go with D.

  8. John Lynch has been lost to the Dark side. Vader (Billacheet) will love his new pupal.

    "Lynch, I am your father."

"Ok, mister hoodie, but you don't have my last name."

"Let me introduce you to Commander Brady."

  9. don't be stupid soxkid lynch wanted to sign with the pats while other teams offered him deals

  10. Just what they need on their geriatric defense, another limper.

  11. The patriots are not evil at all, every other fan in the nfl are just jealous that the patriots are the best team in the nfl. I dont understand why people are mad that we signed a smart and wise safety.

Feel free to argue against me

  12. The Patriots are not evil. Jake is just sad because the Rams are horribly inept. They aren't even going to win 4 games this year.

  13. i dont see a difference in A&C and B&D pretty much saying the same thing

    I'll go with the 2nd D

  14. Obviously whether we like the Patriots or not , teams should adopt their football ways, it works!

  15. E.  Notice that garlic and crucifix around Lynch's neck? John Lynch is a Saint (no, not the new orleans variety) who has made it his mission to change the Cheatriots evil ways.  Please pray for his soul...and pass the guns and ammunition.

  16. Lynch is a classic NFL professional.  He wanted a chance to be the starter again, Denver could not promise that to him.  Evidently the Patriots are.  I wish John Lynch all the best.  His years in Denver he accounted for himself with the utmost class and respect.

  17. B!!!!!!!!!!

  18. no john lynch will TRY to turn the patriots good but the patriots will threaten his family if he doesnt steal playbooks for them...he will do it and get caught and he will be suspected and u say "evil"   he will then commit suicide and the patriots team will laugh and make another cheating superbowl

  19. B - players like going to good teams and patriots are a good team.

  20. Lynch is (was) a class act.

The Patriots are evil incarnate and the treachery goes all the way to the top.

John will slowly be permeated by evilness and will have to be destroyed, like the rest of the Patty's.

  21. d

  22. Lynch is a rare breed of player. Honestly, I'm confused about the reason he gave the media for why he wanted out of Denver. He said it's because of playing time....does he really think he'll be an every down player in NE? We know it's not about the $ as he basically took a $500,000 cut to sign with the Pats. I just think he's not being totally honest about the whole thing.

Either way, I still think John is a class act and a great leader. I hate his new team but still wish the best for him.

Good luck John, we'll miss you in D-Town.

  23. Let the Pats have him.

He has been in the league 15 years.

There is a reason no other teams were throwing any money at him, don't you think?

The Pats have some fetish about getting ancient line backers, who knows why.

Throughout history, the most successful teams are the most hated teams. It's just human nature.

No one was hating on the Pats when they couldn't win 8 games a year, everyone was rooting for them.

And, when they went to the first of the Super Bowls in the beginning of their little dynasty, everyone was on their bandwagon. Everyone loved them because no one thought they could win and were the underdogs.

Especially when they were introduced as a team and not individuals.

What a difference a few years make.

Now that they dominate, everyone hates them.

Even venture far enough to say they are evil.

Don't worry, in a few years they will be back to sucking again like they did most of their history, and everyone will like them again.

NO, I am not a Pats fan, but the truth is the truth.

  24. The Patriots are not evil there just misunderstood and caring

  25. I remember Lynch from long ago and he is a good all around guy that I believe no matter what team he plays for he will still be John Lynch. I respect him a lot and he will give the pats a hundred and ten percent. Hated Broncos let him go and wish dallas had him !!!!!

  26. I pick answer D + Randy Moss, and a few.
