The "north-of-the-border" nascar nationwide race?

yes, it's really me. back to the old m&m avatar for the moment. but the "top contributor" badge should make it clear when the "copycat troll" tries to mimic me. plus, he's going to have a hard time keeping up with my normal word count... very few people can hang with me in terms of "long-windedness," in reading my questions and answers, much less writing them, as i'm sure many of you will agree...

;-)

on to the question: only a few cup regulars will be heading north of the border for the nationwide race in montreal, and none of them will get a lap in before the race actually starts (because of cup practices on saturday). so the five of them will have to have their cars qualified by others and will have to start from the back - of a road course. so it should be a great day for the nationwide regulars.

plus, there are a bunch of "road course ringers" and canadian racers who have run that track far more than the nationwide guys who will be in the race tomorrow. and both of those groups tend to do a little better when they compete in nationwide races as opposed to cup races, where ringers usually always bomb...

given all that, who do you think will win on saturday? and if different, who do you hope will win on saturday? (and no, rowdy's not in the race).

first right answer gets the 10 points to spend on whatever they like...

;-)

  1. I'm ppulling for Logano, but I think Ambrose can pull it off.  Scott Pruett looks really good too.  Sadly, I dont think Boris won't make it til the end of the race.  I think it will be a good race.  (and I don't like road races!)

    Go Jr.>>>>

  2. Im going with Patrick Carpentier tommorow.

  3. ron fellows or ron hornady are my picks to win

  4. Carpentier has to be the odds on favorite. He covered the field last year before an accident but him out of cycle on pit strategy.

  5. I would like to see Steven Wallace take the win.

Now which 5 Cup are going as they aren't in qualifying order...yet...(just the Cup the others are)

  6. I would love to see Mike Wallace win! He rocks!

  7. Since no one has taken him so far... I will go with Scott Pruett, and there will be no Montoya to take him out with a couple laps to go either!

  8. As usual, I'm going to answer Brad Keselowski. And I'm going to keep using that answer until he wins again!

....will the real Rowdy's World please stand up? I've had people copy and paste my answers before, but this copycat stalker-troll thing is out of control!

  9. it could be but you never know other fans never give the cup regulars credit for there road course ability its always the rc ringers

  10. Based on last year's race, I'd have to go with Patrick Carpentier or Marcos Ambrose.  It's a shame that Robby Gordon isn't racing at Montreal.  I'd really like to pull for Edwards, but Circuit Gilles Villeneuve (or Circuit Jacques Villeneuve as that idiot Mark Garrow says... I wish Jayski/ESPN would get rid of him) doesn't seem like his type of track.

  11. Jacques Villenevue. It would be great to see him win.

  12. I'd love see Marcos Ambrose win, he's getting to be my favorite Nationwide driver. He's due.

  13. As much as I love Jacques Villeneuve, I figure Patrick Carpentier could pull this win off...But if Brad Keselowski has a good race and finishes a head of Bowyer and picks up points I'm happy..But Jacques and Patrick will be the local fav's.. My cousin and her husband who live 25 minutes from the track are going and they will be cheering for Jacques especially since he is a chef at Jacques Restuarant..

Go Dale Jr & Hms & Jr Motorsports

  14. Ambrose or Carpentier just might pull it off.

.like the change of atavar,  we know the real you and will help keep the trolls away!

And yes, big big difference in questions and answers..they (who ever troll) cannot hold a candle to ya for the interesting and thought out q &a!!
