  1. I'm voting for McCain.  Mostly, I support his position on nuclear energy and cutting spending.  I think fixing our energy crisis and addressing our massive national debt are VITAL to our economic future.

If Obama is elected, I don't think he'll fix the energy crisis because solar and wind power are too inefficient.  And, I don't think he'll cut spending--he'll just raise taxes.  I think "staying the course" on our current economic track is going to land us in a very serious recession-- if not worse.  I think McCain will reverse course on the economy.

  2. I'll just ride it out; it won't kill me.

  3. Appeasing Russia, war with Russia, nuclear war, human extinction.

  4. Worse case i'd say is Obama wins.

He tries to implement a socialist agenda, which of course he can't pay for, he pleads with Americans on TV to approve his efforts....or congress just goes ahead and passes some law to force people to comply. Taxes go up, fee's are introduced in area's there were no fee's, the economy staggers along as the government tries to rob peter to pay paul. Eventually things tighten up because we can't sustain things with the high price of energy, food, etc....largely problems created by democratically controlled congress in the first place. Then the baby boomers retiring more and more will put a strain on the economy since we will owe them around $53 trillion in benefits but the til is emptry because politicians have been raiding social security for decades. The idea will probably be floated out there that we can simply "do away" with social security since it isn't a mandated program.

Foreign policy will become more "international community" friendly, which wasn't how America go to where we are now. We were independant, we had our own ideas, and we were strong becaouse of it. It will divide Americans, And America will probably still be treated like we are still the bad guy while the real bad countries out there that break the international peace with wreckless abandon get whined at by the do nothing United Nations.

Russia will feel most emboldened snce the US is now playing 2nd fiddle to the paper tiger UN.
