The "pumper:" for my desk chair seems to have lost it's "pump ability"...?

In other words, it used to sit high, and now it's too low. It bottomed out and I cant get it to stay back up. The little arm thingy on the side used to do something to keep the seat fully extended/lowered...now, nothing. Is this a simple matter of DIY fixit, or do i need to buy a whole new darned chair???

  1. You need a new pressurized cylinder for it.  Unless you know how to dis-assemble the chair (it's not that hard), it'll be cheaper to buy a whole new chair.

If you can dis-assemble it,  you might be able to get a replacement through www.mcmaster.com
