The race card of Peterborough highlights trainer N McEllistrim’s exhilarating triumphs
On the 26th of October, 2011, the dirt track of Peterborough arranged two Grade OR shows, each entailing the purse of £100. Courageously rallying through the path and concluding the pursuit in first place, hounds placed N McEllistrim the fortunate
trainer, in the middle of the limelight.
The first Open Race, the S & D Bookmakers 2011 Sprint Trophy – Heat covering the trip of 235 meters, presented N McEllistrim her first win. Her black b***h Pigalle Star not being the favourite greyhound of the show, proved herself as a real go getter.
The five-year-old b***h with the odds of 7 – 2, astonished the entire race track of Peterborough when she accomplished in over throwing the 2 – 1 F Cloncunny Max, by a shade under 2 lengths.
Trainer M Aiden’s Cloncunny Max began his lure chase with pretty sluggish pace, as a result of his gradual chase, the two-year-old was left far behind and experienced a clear run throughout his quest.
On the other side the auspicious hound Pigalle Star, took full advantage of the favourable situation, and showed off her hidden talent. With her eye catching performance, the sprinter assumed the leading position during the course until she crossed over.
In 14.19 seconds, trainer N McEllistrim was given a chance to enjoy the glee of victory when her hound Pigalle Star pulled off with a swift and sure attitude.
Besides the S & D Bookmakers 2011 Sprint Trophy – Heat win, Zodiac Zeus contributed in trainer N McEllistrim triumphs, by attaining the Alan Speechley Fengate Collar 2011 – Heat’s purse. He was also not placed in as the most ideal hound, but his bold and
fearless chase helped him in down rest of his contenders.
Wearing black and white jacket, trainer N McEllistrim’s black dog commenced through trap 4 in urge to hit the wire at first place.
The 9 – 4, Zodiac Zeus was spotted at the pointer station while he was rallying through the third bend. Waspinajar, trainer H Dimmock’s fawn b***h was a major threat for the young champ, but instead of getting the situation in over his head, Zodiac Zeus
greased his elbows and dashed all the way to accomplishment.
In 25.26 seconds, the lucky hound besides crossing the finish line in first place, over threw Waspinajar by a distance of 2 ¾ lengths.
Trainer N McEllistrim’s victories in the Peterborough meeting, gave her a chance to push the boat out. Zodiac Zeus and Pigalle Star both surprised the fortunate trainer with their super class wins in the Heats.
