Question:

The radio in my 1994 holden statesman stopped working?

after recharging the car battery the radio is not working anymore ,i checked the fuse under the dash but all is fine.is there any other fuses?has anybody had the same problem?

  1. Are there any fuses under the hood? If not check behind the radio.


  2. VP / VR and Later Commodores / Statesmans Etc all have Pin Coded Anti Theft Radio's Installed.

    When you disconnected the Battery you put the Radio into " I think someone has stolen me mode "

    You will need the PIN Code & the Instructions on how to input the pin code into your Radio.

    The Instructions will be in the Owners Manual & the PIN Code will be on a Plastic Card inside the Pouch that holds the owners manual.

    If you have lost the PIN Code , Try calling Holden's Customer relations line on 1800 033 349 .

    You will need to quote your VIN number ( Passengers Side bottom of Dashboard , You can read it thru the windscreen from outside the car )

    They "SHOULD" be able to give you the PIN & assistance to key it into the radio over the phone.
