Why is the range of the A319CJ so much better than the A319?

The A319CJ is the Airbus corporate jet, so some parts of the Cargo compartment have been used for extra fuel tanks which gives it more range than the regular A319.

cargo compartment under the floor is nothing but auxiliary fuel tanks. same with the boeing business jet and the executive 727 you see my ugly head sticking out the cockpit window. and you can fly a h**l of alot farther than london to ny. london  to san francisco? yep.
