  1. If your talking about surges? That's why they make surge protectors! As the 1st poster noted, you should only use a power supply voltage that is with in the rating for the appliance you are using!

  2. It is indeed a funny question. We can't tell what it is you are asking?

  3. Your question is unclear.

If the device is not rated for 200-240,yes.

If the device is not rated for 200-240, no.

    .

  4. All electronic equipment is designed to operate

    at a designated voltage.

If the equipment is rated for 110 - 120, don't

    connect it to 200-240.

Most equipment will tolerate voltages in a range

10% higher or lower than the stated rating.

    Read the nameplate.

  5. One of the answers said that these voltages are not dangerous to you.

    WRONG

Voltages as low as 40 volts can kill you.

But as for damaging electronic equipment, use it with the voltage specified in the manual, and you will have no problem. Use it with the wrong voltage and you get smoke.

    .

  6. no it is not.

it might hurt for a few secs but nothing serious maybe a temporary burn

  7. It is dangerous as a surge for equipment rated for 115 volt operation. It is also dangerous to have electronics rated for 240 volt operating at 200 volts. Hope that answered your question.
