The reason people are always mean to me?

a lot of people seem to enjoy making fun of me...... in global class, the boys will insult me and draw male genitals all over my binder, in math class....the girls will talk about me and basically make me feel inferrior by "heavy sighing" when i don't know the answer to a question.....like today my friend heard them talking bad about me and my boyfriend..... then i confronted them, then one girl was like "just sit down and stfu."

come to think of it, many girls seem to not like me.

my dad says it's because their jealous and guys do that in a flirt way.....but they say such mean things, they can't be being flirty? I'll admit, i'm constantly told i'm pretty by the people who are not mean to me, and the boys who don't tease me admit i'm beautiful.

but still, i don't think that's the reason....when i think someone's pretty, i'm not mean to them - if anything i want to befriend them, because it's human nature to be drawn in by something pretty to look at....

what do you think?

its because you got to be more confident. if you think that people make fun of you allot, then you lose confidence and in turn they will then pick on you even more. school is full of people trying to make themselves look the best, the most easyt way to do this is to make other people look worse.

NO ONE can make you feel "inferior" without your permission.  This time in your life can be very difficult because some people, such as those you describe, are simply brutal!  They are unhappy about themselves and need to take it out on others.  Unfortunately, YOU have become a target (as have others).  Know that you are OK, just the way you are.  Count your blessings that these jerks dont live with you or sign your pay check.  Finally, learn to deal with these idiots in a way that allows you to preserve your own self respect and dignity.  You'll meet people like this your entire life.  This is NOT ABOUT YOU!!!!!

I believe that your father is right. Alot of people get jealous when you are attractive, and some guys say some really crazy things when they like you. They may say some horrible things. But just don't let it get you down, pray for those people and go on. Because if you dwell on it, it will only worry you to death. if there getting real loud and constantly talking negative to you, never scoop down to there level and do the same it will only make you look as bad as them. Just tell them I'm not going to waste my energy on this negativity I'll be praying for you. So go on don't worry and remember keep Jesus in your foreground, God bless you.

Usually people do that bcuz they dont know what else to do. These ppl dnt feel comfortable about themself that they feel like they got to pick on someone else so it can make them feel better. People are just mean in reality. sometimes girls do that, they pick on someone bcuz they are prettier then them. Just ignore them and tell them what you are made of. People also do that bcuz they think you wont do nothing about it. if you show them that  you can stand up for yourself then they will most likely back down. but dont get yourself in trouble over it. so its all up to you. its your choice. good luck tho

They are all weak. They all suffer from their own self absorbed deep seated inner pain and choose to harass you to make them feel better about themselves.

Because of their behavior, you will succeed later in life while they fail miserably.

I know. People ridiculed and harassed me as well and these same people are suffering badly to this day because of their self righteousness.

how old are you?. i hope less than 14 because if your classmates do what they do to you and are older the only reason for them to do this is because they know no morals or they are just stupid. anyways i think you may be exaggerating the situation, i mean there will always be people who won't like you and talk bad about you. about the boys, just ignore them and they will get bored eventually, and if they don't it doesn't matter. keep in your mind that you are better than everyone if you stick to your morals and ethics, unless you don't want to belong to this society.
