  1. 1 clove = 1 tsp. chopped garlic

so use 3 tsp. or 1 Tbsp.

  2. Two flat teaspoons of crushed garlic is fine.

3 whole cloves seems a bit much...

I make a huge pot of bolognese sauce to feed eight people with only two cloves of garlic.

  3. the whole jar damnit.

  4. one large clove = one teaspoon

  5. the jar should say some where what they recommend.. I use a regular Ole teaspoon and put a heaping spoon full for each clove I would have used, but I like a LOT of garlic.

  6. ½t per clove would be enough.

    Hint.

It is better to use less and add more, than trying to loose some because you have used too much.

    edit

  7. About 3 teaspoons (level) of the chopped garlic. Hope it's not in a citric acid mixture. This could change the taste of what you're trying to make.

  8. Usually the jar would say how much would equal a clove.  But a good guess would be 3 teaspoons.

  9. 1/2 tsp.= 1 clove, so 1 1/2 teaspoons

  10. Probably 3 teaspoons. Garlic cloves are not that big.

  11. you would need 2 tablespoons of the canned garlic
