I have windows Vista, How can I replace it?

  1. that's a common occurrence that people have using Vista - unlike WinXP you are able to remove the icon so people often end up doing it inadvertently

    to restore it right click on the desktop then select peronalize , then select change dektop icons tick the box the says recycle bin finally click apply and presto it should be back where you left it

  2. Right click on desktop somewhere.

    Select personalize.

    in the upper left corner area is "Change desktop icons",click that.

    check box Recycle bin.

    click apply.

    That should do it if you accidentally deleted the icon off your desktop.

    It will probably go in the upper left corner, if you desktop is crowded, but probably not where you had it before, so you may have to look for it.
