The renewal process of I-20 form?

Question

I lost my I-20 form. Does it take too much time to get a new I-20 form? I have 1 month to go states. Do i have to go consulate offices or Is it just about between school and consulate offices? Thank you for your help i think i still have time.. :)

Requirements to Issuse a I-20/DS-2019 to Replace a Lost Document:

Form Submission: The student must provide to the Office of International Affairs a copy of the Change of Major Form approved by his Academic Advisor and Chair of the department, and the Registrar's Office. You may use this form or the New I-20/DS2019 Request Form to apply for the new I-20/DS-2019.

The I-20 form is between the school and you, and how they can replace it depends on the individual school's policy and procedures.  

You must bring it with you when you apply for your student visa.  Only the school itself will know how long it will take to get a replacement; if time is short, they can fax it to you for the visa application, but you'll still need an original when you arrive in the US.  Have you called the school and asked them to Fedex or DHL it to you?
