Question:

The rest of my life?

Since I was younger I always took an interest in the movies. I enjoy writing. It's a passion of mine. I'm in drama and I am taking a film course in grade 12. I also enjoy acting. I'm now a sophomore in high school and it's time to decide what I'm going to do for the rest of my life. I know the chances of becoming a successful film director are slim to none, but I feel I have what It takes. Now that you guys have my life story here's the question. What should I do after high school? Film school? Pitch an idea? I know connections can be helpful, I don't have many. I'm just a 16 year old with a big dream looking for some advice and direction. Something is better than nothing. Thanks.

  1. id suggest to try to get into the drama department at a university, near you or one with a good drama department depending on your grades and money and all of  those factors.  You can get some connections and maybe find something else that catches your interest.

  2. Why not do both? Video&or photogragh yourself, a bio of sorts, through your education of the subject you feel you need more assistance with ! Take your learning piecemeal, little here & there.  Tread all the roads, create new ones , in life, dont get stuck in the drugery of a rotary ! You'll never fail, as long as you did you best!!  have fun, dont blink, you might miss life passing by you...    best wishes

  3. ask this question to yourslef myfriend...no one here could answer that question because you are the one that knows what you can do best... 1 more day you will get 20 different kind of answers and in the end you are going to choose whats best for your life.
