  1. Escalaphobia.  That's the one I've heard.  


  2. The push to make up names for different phobias is more the doings of English majors than psychologists. The actual, official name would be a "Specific phobia: Situational Type." There are several types of specific phobias (animal type, environmental type, situational type, blood-injection-injury type, and other type). Professionals do not use the various made up names you find on sites like phobialist, etc.  To know for sure (and only if this is about you personally) one would need to get a thorough assessment by a licensed psychologist. Most of these difficulties are easily treatable. Try the ABCT or ADAA websites and their find a therapist links if you need assistance.
