  1. Well i get scared of movies really easily. I saw it. Its pretty scary. A really good movie for me was "when a stranger calls". its great for people that get scared easily cos its not scary ..its a thriller. It makes you jump out of your seat the whole time.

P.s. if you do decide to watch it ..: To make it less scary just keep slagging them eg..that monster (there is none but im just saying it as an example..) looks like a lickle teddy bear or sumting.

  2. It scared me and i don't scare easily, good if you want to be scared but i can guarantee you won't sleep.

    Its Samara...she's terrifying!

    Have fun!

    x*x

  3. Me and my friends watched it a couple of years ago and though we were scared and hiding behind our pillows we didn't regret watching it

It plays with your mind rather than actually being really horrifying to look at it is mostly suspense which I think makes a good film :)

I would say go for it!!

  4. it is quite creepy, yes.  but it's only a movie.  it's not real.  watch and enjoy!  if you dont like it you can always turn it off.

  5. It is quite scary, i recommend Pillows, sitting together and sit next to a light switch lol.  The 1st scariest part is at a girls funeral and when a woman says " I fount her in a closet" after that you see a dead girl sitting in a closet.  If you don't like bloody scary faces i wouldn't look lol.  Also at the end when she comes out of the TV is quite scary but you don't see anything gory just scary lol.  Sorry if i said too much.  Have a  nice time lol

  6. Lots & lots of pillows (to hide your face)  scary film

    Please follow the age guidance

  7. the scary thing is that the movie come out from the screen, god! after five years, it still give me the chills now just to remember it, i won't spoil it for you, well, may be i'm saving your lives, the movies theme is that there is a little film in it, that you will see, and who ever sees it dies in a week. well you might be smart to say, but you are still alive after five years, well how do you know that i'm not just a ghost typing these words, even if you saw people who watched the movie and stayed alive, how do you know, they didn't close there eyes on that section, or maybe you see dead people like in " the sexth sense"! have fun....while you can

  8. I personally don't find this movie scary & the Japanese version is better. I find it more suspenseful than scary.

  9. If you can't handle disformed faces

    blood

and a girl coming out of the tv with rage

    don't watch it

i don't really do scary movies...

  10. don't watch it,watch the grudge instead

  11. I found it scary and I'm 30! That said, I'm a wuss too.

It is a very good film actually, but yes, scary.

  12. thats a dumb movie.

    not scary at all.

    watch it you'll see.

it seems like none of the japanese re done films are good.

    like the ring sucks

    the grudge sucks

there was another that i can't remember the name of right now but it sucked to.

  13. I am a horror movie buff and watch all horror movies.  I personally was scared to death by that d**n movie, only one that ever did.  But most other people weren't scared at all.  There is just something about creepy little kids that I just can't handle.  Hope you have fun whatever you rent!

  14. Its not bloody or gory, more psychological. It would be a fun sleepover movie!

  15. It's an excellent movie and best viewed in a group (huddled up!).  As just about everyone has said so far it is VERY SCARY - not so much in blood & gore but in suspense and bizarre imagery.  Once viewed though you'll be hooked.  If you can find a copy you really must see the original Japanese version of this film... it's even better.  Why not have a fright night and watch The Grudge films too!  The original Japanese versions of these (Ju-on) are fantastic.

The scariest bit of The Ring?  When one of the film's characters watches 'the video' of the long haired girl climbing out of the well and walking closer and closer towards the tv screen ....and then even CLOSER!  (Don't want to spoil it for you) :-)

    Happy viewing!!!!

    :-O aaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgh!

  16. I'll assume that you're asking about the American version and not the Japanese original (I've seen both and prefer the American take on it) - both films are disturbing and creepy. Not frightening though, but they'll make you feel uneasy and you won't be able to scrub the images from your brain.

Incidentally, the American version was directed by Gore Verbinski, who later went on to direct the very different Pirates of the Caribbean movies!

  17. It's creepy but nothing too scary!

  18. My friend Bri who was 10 years old when she watched it almost crapped her pants and had nightmares for a month.
