The ripper walk and other ghost tours.?

Is it worth it to go on these tours and pay the money, or should I just buy a book with all the haunted sites and do it on my own?

I have seen so much of it on tv lately that I pretty much know the history of why these places are supposedly haunted, that I feel I really don't need a guide. Have you done it, is it worth it?

  1. umm.. yea I just got chills reading it LOL

If you want to come first hand with a spirit then go ahead. I for one.. have had ENOUGH experiences with the unknown I dont need nor want anymore

  2. if you've got a good guide then the tours are worth it, they can bring the places "alive" for you, and being with a group of others is much more fun than doing it on your own

  3. Key West, FL has great ghost tours..Savannah, GA does too

I like learning some of the history behind the folk lore as well

  4. I'd rather buy for a tour cause i'd want to be with alot of people if I saw something really scary!! I'd love to go on one some day though!

  5. well since going to the places  at night offers the best 'atmosphere' I think going with a guide/group gives one the Safety to do it at night.

But if you decide to do it on your own be carefull- epecially if you want to do it at night.

While I didn't get a chance to do any of their ghost walks but I went on several walks with this company and enjoyed them all.
