  1. The major American presidential candidates are currently sidestepping the issue. They are mouthing the words as they are required to do but have come to realize that there is too much conflicting evidence to come out too strongly.

Even the Man-Made Global Warming alarmists are back-pedalling their theories and models as the numbers are significantly not fitting. Now the topic is Man-Made Global Climate Change as they have learned that too many of their predictions have been proven false. 2007 was NOT a significant year for major storms as predicted following Katrina.

Keep in mind that Gore hd to fake many of the scenes in his movie and that many of his scientists were economists social studies profesors and not meteorologists.

  2. Politicians do not include global warming as a platform issue because it is not accepted by the majority of American voters in many key states.  To include it would be political suicide.  They will do as they will once they are in office.  Until then, they will appeal to as many voters as they can.  In this case, avoidance of the issue entirely is the best policy.

  3. Can you try asking that question in English please?

  4. Talking about global climate change is not what the corporate media wants in the U.S.A. Candidates for elected office here are all media whores. Do politicians in the UK and Ireland talk about global climate change?

  5. We have now had ten years of cooling or stable temperatures

    http://www.dailytech.com/Temperature+Mon...

The graph in this article clearly shows that 1999 and 2000 were cooling years 2001 to 2006 were stable and 2007 another cooling year.

These were direct satellite measurements from the official organisations that monitor global temperature, not GW sceptics or oil industry people, so they cannot be dismissed.

This indicates that the role of CO2 in our atmosphere has been substantially overestimated, it is a factor but only one in many.

So any presidential candidate who ran on that ticket would be backing a losing horse.

Many people around the world who have no real interest in or knowledge of the environment, promote the man made global warming hypothesis simply because they see it as useful anti-American propaganda

  6. Because it is a lie. Gore's movie was not true because he copied another movie to demonstrate the ice melting. The green house gas that is the so called cause of it ,is not there. The plants have done a great job in removing the CO2.If the CO2 is not there it is all a lie.

  7. global warming is a con.

they say due to cars-freezers-microwaves and so on.

    making far to much CO2s

that is the course of our floods and bad weather

    due to the above.

then why is it that they also say flooding and the weather hasnt been this bad since the year 1818.

    WHAT cars-freezers-microwaves was around then?

or was it horse and cow c**p that made it flood and the weather so bad.CO2s from our animals thats the course.

SO STOP TAXING THE h**l OUT OF ME

and telling others c**p about CO2s

  8. It has been found that only 2% of the earth's polutions are created by man.  So any money or effort on our part will have little if any effect.  Gory Gore needs to chain hisself to a tree a thousand miles from no where and then loose the key.!!!

  9. Some 6,000 years ago there was global warming. Ice sheets melted and the sea rose so that the bit between where England is and the Continent flooded to form the English Channel.

I didn't realise that they had cars then and should have taxed them to prevent this catastrophe.

Beware! Global Warming is ill understood but an easy answer for Governments wanting to raise tax for a 'GOOD CAUSE'.

  10. The answer may look simple or simplistic!

First, people there got used to a life style that is sustained by a heavy power consumption. There ought to be separate engineering discipline on power saving and energy economy. For instance, drying or desiccating foodstuff is best done by spreading it in sun to dry, rather than using an electrical dryer. There is no point in blaming the buffaloes farts in rice paddys,  as animals have been farting for millennia. All that talk is just that - farting. Witness the recent statement of Ms. Rice on rice and wheat consumption that Chinese and Indians are eating more of these now. It obviously points to a solution of starving or killing Chinese and Indians. This convoluted thinking is the height of bad manners necessitating a public, resounding slap on her face. Even suggesting that would be construed as bad manners of the underprivileged. Energy efficient dwellings are gaining popularity now. Those who defend the status quo say that technology has answers for every such problem. But none is attempting to do just that. You know why? It costs money. It is not feasible Who will foot the bill ?...etc. This is where the governments should step in. Unlike most third world governments, American government doesn't want to step into the domain of, what it feels as, private business. That government has its own ideas of public good tied to profit-making, nor the voters are not sufficiently educated. Profligacy in life style is the culprit number one. Another is the trillion plus dollars invested in various house hold items, power plant, cars, gadgets etc. They wouldn't wind up their factories resulting in loss of millions of first world jobs.

The most important blunder we, the humanity has committed is cutting down forests (particularly rain forests in South America, Africa, India, Indonesia). Excess Carbon in CO2 of atmosphere can permanently be fixated in the form of trees. On the other hand by burning that wood or enabling it to release the Carbon into the air we are delibarately harming the environment. Even now it is not too late and using bio- technology turn barren lands into forests to trap the Carbon.

  11. I think you meant that if you tell a lie enough times, then people will start believing it.  I know like that scientology thing with L. Ron Hubbard who said that if you want to be rich, invent your own religion.  Which he did.....

Not sure if I read your question right or if it should be translated but you are probably from a foreign country and think that the USA should pay for everything, but sorry, we are starting to realize that we can't keep that up.  It is hard enough to support one million illegal immigrants with free medical care and welfare, yet pay our own bills.
