many people think that the queen still has all the power, when that is not true. the royal family in england is part of the country's culture. many english citizens like the queen because she really is a nice old lady, and when charles takes the throne there are enough laws in place that he won't be able to make much of a difference. if you are interested in this, watch the movie "the queen" it is very good. the queen is there to represent and look out for the welfare of the people, she is our servant. i think it's nice that another power is looking out for my countrymen when our prime minister wasn't doing his job correctly. wouldn't you want someone looking after the american people other than the president if he wasn't doing his job?
