The rules of making out...When is it acceptable?

I know this will probably come off as a rather daft question, but I've been too shy/reserved in the past.

I'm very much interested in making out and exploring hormones...but since I'm a late bloomer, I have no idea what I'm doing. When is okay to make out? When isn't it? What's the difference between using someone and not using them? Who is an acceptable maker-out-er? Things like that.

Any advice would be very welcome

When it is ok to make out-

Making out is one step away from s*x, or just when you two are really horny but are too afraid to actually have s*x. It's OK to do when you've both known each other for a while, and when you trust him and you both want to have s*x.

When it's not ok-

In public. There's no rules against it, but it's vulgar, and some may find it offensive. It's not OK when you're not going to have s*x, or you are just going to ignore it after. It's also not OK to do all the time, because that's :

1. just weird.

and 2. You're relationship isn't going anywhere if you're both just going to make out.

Tips-

It's just normal pashing or very passionate kissing, you use your hands a lot more, and you are a lot closer. There are no rules for kissing, let alone making out.

depends on how old you are.. i guess.

you shouldn't plan to make out with anyone, if it happens it happens.

and chances are if you're using the person to make out he's using you too. dont worry about that.

just make sure you have variety, like different paces. dont go too fast all the time, and vary the amount of pressure you apply on the lips. and avoid slobbering.. yuck. haha.

It is acceptable whenever the two of you want to do it. It becomes unacceptable when one of you says stop.

Using someone is when you mislead them about your feelings for them in order to get some. Don't do that.

I am kinda shy in this matter myself. I try and keep it to when we're alone and there isn't too many people about because if I was in that public place I wouldn't want to be near a couple just making out. However if you make sure it doesn't look like you guys are just letting the hormones go off their faces ie. you're not just losing clothing and eating eachother's faces then I think it's fine in public. I tend to leave it until we're alone. Just do what you feel is comfortable.

It's okay to use someone if "THEY" offer cash, trips, shopping spree's, etc...
