  1. no it does not.

however you can hit the ball with your racket and land inside the service box will do.

  2. No. You can swing any way you want as long as the ball doesn't bounce before you hit it.

  3. its okay to use underhand serve as long as the ball will not bounce before you swing and it needs to be "in" in the service box

  4. Nope....just get it over and into the service box.

  5. The people above me have answered your question, so I'm just gonna pose a little question of my own :)

Michael N, do u know of some video showing one of those 2 using that underhand serve? I'd like to see the crowd's reaction after they used. I'm sure they must have recd a lot of boos for that.

  6. No, you are allowed to serve underhand as long as you hit the ball in the air without letting it bounce first.  Michael Chang used an underhand serve at the French Open gainst Ivan Lendl in 1989, and Martina Hingis used it against Steffi Graf at the French Open in 1999.  Chang and Hingis both won the point when they used it.

  7. Nope!!! In the French Open Final of '99, Hingis used an underarm serve when she was match point down, as did Karlovic a couple of weeks ago.

  8. so long as the ball doesn't bounce before you swing
