The rumor is we might be pulling out of Iraq?

Does this mean we are preparing to take on Iran? Or does it mean that the U.S. is willing to make an atonement for it's sinful corporate war for oil, and senseless loss of lives of our soldiers and the Iraqi people?

  1. You say the U.S. like it's some how everyone in it's fault.

Unfortunately, as much as I hate this war, we can't just "pull out." We have to stabilize the situation, and THEN we can leave. In my opinion, this was more of a "my c**k is bigger than your c**k war," and less of a war for oil. But d**n, did it give the oil companies an excuse to raise those prices :)

  2. We are not pulling out of Iraq any time soon. Bush isn't going to do it and neither McCain, nor Obama have plans to complete such action within their first term.

Remember, you heard a 'rumor', not any kind of 'fact'.

  3. What rumor?

I imagine that anything you heard is that the Soliders from the surge are redeploying and not being replaced.  This does not mean the US is preparing to invade Iran.  Nor does it mean the US is willing to make atonement...  It means that the security situation in Iraq has gotten better and that the additional Soldiers are not needed.

If anything, the Soldiers who have been freed up by the drawdown will get sent to Afghanistan.

  4. lmao, go hug a tree.  if your going to speak on this topic, do some research.  No oil has been taken from iraq.  And iran has it coming, it openly admitted to training fighters and sending the to iraq to kill americans.  Pakistan has a major training camp for al queda.  You people are so quick to cry about war.  But yet i dont see you suffer at all, What have you given?  NOTHING.  Ask any soldier, they want to go out there and do there job.

  5. Sure why not, then everyone will just be sent to afghanistan. Funny how everyone seems to forget we have almost as many people over there as well.

  6. Would Mobile Exxon seriously consider leaving any time soon? Now that it got American tax payers to foot the bill for it's new $10B new Middle East Head Quarters, press like to call head quarters 'embassy'. hahaha.

They need not fear the population much any more as 'the ones Not dead are barely surviving' So actually as the banks melt down in October, the regular military can come on home. They will not be pleased to know Army will have no money for their needs and 'cut them loose' so to speak.

Now Black-water the world's largest private army (murdering thugs who answer to none). They will be able to handle it now. You know it really irks me when a big oil company can use the Nation's Army, squandering the economy, the blood it's soldiers and the reputation of America around the world. Will Exxon offer anything in thanks or recognition? Even a tiny gesture like a price reduction in gas and oil, considering who paid the price to get it? Not a bleeding chance...Mary.

  7. yeah thats bull. Its not about oil. It's about an incompitant commander-in-chief wishing to wage a war to make his mark on history, even though they didn't threaten us. Let the UN handle this c**p for once, maybe one day they will.

  8. The only plan at present is to withdraw our troops from major Iraqi cities to be replaced by Iraqi security forces. Quit parroting the nonsensical mantra about oil. Iran is running out of oil. It's the chief reason why they have been engaged in building a nuclear power electrical generating capability. 85% of Iraqi oil is under contract to a French firm, Compagnie Petrol De Francais. We lost more men and women on active duty in the eight years of the previous administration than we have lost in the Long War.

    Facts. Not some blogger's b.s.

  9. Tell me where the oil is that we got from Iraq. From what I see oil prices are higher than they were before the war. Stop believing everything Michael Moore says. He has his own agenda.

    Edit:

Your still not saying anything kid. Get some new talking points.

  10. Since America is such a brain washing horrid country get out. Go live in Canada or something. The US did not invade Iraq for oil, it was a war based off Saddam's threat and to overthrow his power that would be there until he died. If the Iraqi people want to live by their religion that is one thing but having to live under one man's word is another. We went into that war to get rid of Saddam and that's what we did. We had evidence of WMD just because the UN and the US inspection showed none doesn't mean they never had any. Our evidence was strong and we did what we did. Now Saddam has no power and the Iraqi people are more free. Could they rebuild into the same Iraq they was absolutely but there is nothing more we can do about it. Go hug a tree this is the real world if you can't handle the bloodshed and the facts of war quit watching tv.

You liberals are idiots you are the brain washed ones thinking oh it's a conspiracy everytime you turn around. You can't support our troops and our country that gives you the life you live in everyday. I have nothing else to say to you and I'm not going to argue with you any further the only thing I'm gonna say furthermore is.. **** YOU!
