The same dream. i still don't get it.?

Question

well i had this strange dream where i saw my friend. but he was far away on the other side of the highway. for some reason i didn't just walk over. but instead i went up a ladder and walked/crawled through a very narrow bridge. ad it had no railings either. after i got to the end of a bridge there was a river i had to cross. but i couldn't gather the courage to jump to the other side. i couldve jumped and caught on to a railing and lifted myself up. but for the rest of the time i just thought about what i could do....and i woke up. i didn't jump.

there were alot of people around me and everyone was encouraging me to go. even my friend. but i stood there doing nothing.

also i say "friend" because i never met the person. i've seen him in my dreams before. i had one dream similar to this. but i'm not sure who he is.

i've had this dream maybe once or twice in the past. the first time i managed to tlak to him and be next to him and stuff. because i drove through the highway. but this time i didnt...

i'm actually muslim and i'm not as religious as i should be. religion is another daily chore for me in life.

could it be an invitation from god to help me see the light and i should be more religious?

please i need all the help i can get

Sounds like to me you are at a place in your life where you have some decisions to make that is causing you grief not only because the decisions maybe overwhelming but also because you are trying to take the wrong direction to avoid anxiety but in doing so it is causing you more anxiety.  You more than likely are aware of this and just not confronting it and fixing the problem.
