  1. It basically means that when you're really in love with someone, you tend to not see their imperfections or you don't notice the annoying things they do.

  2. when your in love u see the true beauty of that person - and all the "bad" things about them arent important to you, cuz your focussing on all the good things - cuz ur in love with that person !  but everyone else isnt in love with that person, so they see bad things about that person, and you are blind to those things when you are in love.

    hope i helped :)

  3. It's supposed to mean that love is indiscriminate.

It doesn't see colour, attractiveness, and other superficial traits.

However, I think we all pretty much know that's not always true.

  4. Love is blind means it blocks you from seeing the reality of a situation.  For example...if your boyfriend is really mean to you...you don't see it because you are so in love with him....hence love is blind.  But when you break up...you look back and see how mean he was.

  5. That means that everyone else can see the poor qualities, the humaneness of the one you love, everyone except you. All you see is the beauty of the one you love, all you see is what you want to see, your love for that certain someone, whether it is your dad, your mother, your siblings, or your spouse will not let you see the things other people see.

Love makes you blind to the unwanted characteristics of who ever is the "apple of your eye".

Love is blind. You will not see their mistakes.

  6. when you're in love with someone some times you dont see the bad things that may come with that person. for example when a man cheats on a woman, that woman may be so in love with that man she doesnt care that hes constantly cheating... however all her friends that arent in love with that man cant understand why she stays with him. its because love is blind, the woman is blinded by love and doesnt see that him cheating on her outweights the pro's of his love.

  7. ...love sees from the heart to love another...

  8. Well, it's a pretty old dodge and a play on words in which the idea is that one sort of "blindness" actually makes one see something more clearly. One instance is in the Bible, when Paul is struck blind, he can finally see correctly that Jesus is the Son of God. Another example is the old saying that "true love in not really blind, it just brings a finer sight." The idea in the last example being that one is not simply blind to a loved ones faults; instead, one now sees the better aspects of the loved one that others overlook. An optimistic view that I'm not sure I share.

  9. it probably means that if you love someone, it doesn't matter how physically butt ugly they are. but i could be wrong.

  10. I don't think it refers to the seeing someone that you love in a particular way only as most people are suggesting. I think the meaning is broader, it refers to the perception one has of the world and people's action and how we perceive them when we're in loved. In other words, seeing your loved one in a certain way is just part of the process, you also see the world, others and yourself in a different manner when you're in love. Usually the more in love you are, the more you're prone to be mistaken.

I am glad 'tis night, you do not look on me,

For I am much ashamed of my exchange:

But love is blind and lovers cannot see

    The pretty follies that themselves commit;

For if they could, Cupid himself would blush

To see me thus transformed to a boy.

  12. " Love is blind".........

  13. A person in love, at least the early stages of it, often sees only the good in their mate and doesn't notice all of his/her faults.

It can also mean that a person in love sees only their mate's inner self and is not concerned with that person's physical appearance.

  14. It means love doesn't consider physical appearance, and doesn't consider the attributes of a person. It means that a sudden connection iis felt between the two, regardless of any other subject other htan that persone xists.
