The screen on my ipod is frozen?

ive had my ipod for a year and its used so im not sure how old it is but anyways i bought some songs off itunes and later that night clicked a song and the screen froze and its been frozen for about 4 days should i plug it into the computer or what?

help!?

try pluging it in and clicking "restore" on itunes.... thats what worked for me

That happens to my iPod too sometimes. I unfreeze by restoring my iPod by pressing down on the clicker and the play/pause button at the same time. It should unfreeze in a minute or so.

Yes, that would be best. Try restoring it, that usually helps or if not try resetting it first. Trust me, I have had my fair share of iPod problems, now I have to deal with not looking at  the screen because it is completely messed up for different reasons. Good luck!

Toggle the Hold switch on and off. (Slide it to Hold, then turn it off again.)

or

Press and hold the Play/Pause and Menu buttons simultaneously until the Apple/iPod logo appears, about 6 to 8 seconds. You may need to repeat this step. This works for me.
