What is the difference between an old soul and a young one? And why does one become an old soul? Is it a good of back thing to live again and again?

I've never heard of old souls and young souls. Normally they're classifed by letter. I'd say you're probably an R-soul.

in this earthly plane.  Our three present dimensions, mind , heart, and soul need to recombine here b-4 moving on toward more advanced dimensional forms. Right now I'm traveling backwards

You can tell the age of someones soul by the age of the person. If the person is a baby, then they are a new soul.

If the person is elderly, then they are an old soul.

If reincarnation came into play, it would make things confusing. Luckily reincarnation is pure fantasy fiction.

The term "old soul" is just figurative shorthand for saying someone is wise beyond his years.  I believe most who use the term are not literally referring to someone's soul when they say that.

An old soul is just a young child who seems and acts like a well rounded adult, where you have to do a double take to make sure they arent a midget.

A young soul is more in line with being a free spirit, experiencing each thing in life with enjoyment usually an Aquarius.

Infinity , you are refering to living forever and returning again and again, well that depends what religion you are.

Inifity?

If you mean infinity, this is a mathematical concept.  It has no secret, that I'm aware.

I'm sure living again and again has its advantages, but there's no evidence that I'm aware of that anyone has managed to accomplish such a feat.  It would seem to be extremely improbable.

Souls?  That's a question better asked under "Religion and Spirituality".  In "Science and Mathematics", there are no souls.

This has nothing to do with infinity.

When referring to an "Old Soul" people are usually referring to ones emotional experience relevant to their age. A person who has experienced a lot of grief and sadness is said to have an "Old Soul" because they no longer view things positively they are damaged and posses a negative attitude towards life.
