with it Error Code 80070422, please help me i runan update to windows service pack 3 and now I get this message when I try and open a script host? I have AVG virus and not virus on computer, please help me !!!

It's one of the services in Control Panel/Administrative Tools/Services - it's not turned on.  Unfortunately, I thought there was one named Windows Scripting Host, and there isn't, so I've gone as far as I can, but maybe someone else knows which service is needed for WSH.  (If a service requires another service, and the second one isn't running, the first one won't start.)

Why this happened right after you ran SP3 is a mystery.
