where to make a start when you have mess it up in personal life

when you have no job (just teaching some children )

and when you only have a physics degree???

go teach english in a foreign country. or learn to fly a plane and travel the world..both seem pretty good

I would suggest that you look to your college for help in placing you in a job.  Most colleges have such an office.

Start where you are.  Just pick yourself up (or get some help) dust yourself off, and start again.  This is the wonder of each new day and your ability to make choices. Apply for anything until you can make happen what you really want.

BTW, I think a lot of folks here will be insulted that "just teaching some children" is no job.
