The sims 2 apartment life mailbox?

i was playing the new apartment life for the sims 2 and i noticed that whenever i edited a lot, saved and then exited to the neighborhood screen that whenever i came back i had the regular residential mailbox. i still have my lot changed to apartment base and i don't know why this isn't working for me. i was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on how to fix this or if they knew of a site where i could download a buyable apartment life mailbox (if that custom content has come out yet). i know that they have buyable mailboxes for the regular houses/lots in case you deleted the original and i was wondering if anyone knew a site for this mailbox. if you do then i'd be really helpful to know. thanks in advance. :)

There probably isnt that custom content yet but maybe soon, and yea im having the same problem too i dont know how to get it when im buliding an apartment...

If you've got the replacement mailbox from Sim a Little Dream a Lot (for those times when you accidentally delete the mailbox or download a lot with the mailbox missing) from http://daydream.etowns.net for a previous version of Sims 2, such as BonVoyage or FreeTime you need to delete that file. The filename will begin with SEDD so check your downloads for that.

There is a new version of the mailbox available already at the URL given above especially for Apartment Life that automatically changes into the apartment mailbox after you've changed the doors and the lotzoning. Any previous versions need to be removed/deleted from your Downloads because they conflict with the new mailbox.

The files you need to make sure to delete are as follows:

In the COLLECTIONS folder 0x6e870b24.package

In the Downloads folder SEDD_BuyMailboxBV.package
