The France international is having a hard time maintaining his place in Carlo Ancelotti’s Paris Saint-Germain and the red card against Lille could be a big blow to the defender’s future at the club
When things go wrong, they simply go wrong. That’s what many have said about Paris Saint-Germain defender Mamadou Sakho. The young defender was already having a torrid time at the club and in came Nolan Roux whom he had to bundle over inside the box.
The referee whistled for a penalty and gave the PSG defender his marching orders. A 10-man PSG found it hard to hold on to their slim advantage and eventually lost the game 2-1 to Lille. The defeat now leaves the Parisians five points adrift of Montpellier
Herault and it seems that the Championelle could go to the South of France.

Already in crisis in recent weeks, Sakho really needs to find his confidence if he is to turn things around for himself and for his club. a few months back, PSG were on course to winning their first Championelle in 18 years. Now, it seems that the Parisians
will have to wait for one more year for that.
