    Sodium-Potassium Pump works by letting 3 sodium (Na+) ions enter into the cell and 2 potassium (K+) ions out of the cell. This is considered as Active Transport, and is energized by the dephosphorylation (removal of phosphate groups) from ATP, the energy source for the Sodium-Potassium Pump.

    Although it indirectly causes A (through synaptic transmission) and C (through signal transduction).

    It is driven by ATP and pumps 2K+ in to the nerve fibre for every 3Na+ it pumps out.
