The solution to Global Warming is consumers Must save energy. Who agrees with me?

Question

The question is how do we save energy?

1) Keep the energy prices high which will force consumers to look at "the alternative"

2) Ride the Public Transportation.

3) Car Pool.

4) Banned Dryer Machine. We can all hang clothes.

5) Use recycles products.

6) Many more. It is the consumers causing the global warming. When i say consumers, I am talking about everybody. Consumers led businesses or corporate or politicians to produce earth killer products. Corporate maximizes profit by selling consumers their needs and wants. Or politicians give consumers their need and want to get their vote such as gas tax break (stupid idea). If we all learn how to save energy, we can all save the planet earth and corporate will be able to sell earth friendly products to achieve profits.

Sorry to SPOIL your ideas. Humans dont cause global warming. it is part of the earths natural cycles. so when you find a REAL solution to something that humans have no control over, let me know, that would be very interesting to know.

I agree that less energy needs to be used, but as Ive mentioned many times to your responses, high prices lead to inflation and high food prices.  Like we have now, we got food shortages and high oil prices causing huge inflation

The solution to Global Warming is that there are many solutions, but everyone needs to work together to help this issue and everyone needs to do their part.  The environment is in danger and we can help by donating to the World Wildlife Foundation, by using less energy, by purchasing environmentally friendly products, by not using chemicals that are harmful, by cleaning up litter in parks, by not dumping garbage in ocean/waterways, etc.  There are many ways to help out.

Saving energy here on earth will have no effect on the sun's output, therefore using less energy will have no effect on climate.

I always find it interesting that people think the only way to solve an environmental problem is to make others pay a high cost just to go about their daily business like maybe raising a family or going to work.  

When you come of age and have to pay the bills, you won't be so quick to take money out of other people's pockets.  

Car pooling is a bad idea.  Filling your car with water won't solve a thing, but it might short out your dashboard and ruin the interior.  

Here's my solution:  Pass a law that makes everyone pay ten bucks, one time for a brick of tree saplings.  Then plant the trees.  We save the environment, global warming settles down.  Barack Obama and Al Gore won't be able to tax us anymore for charging our iPods and we can get on with our lives.

I can see it now.  "It has been found that the millions of extra trees planted to stop "global warming" is now causing too much oxygen to be produced and there is not enough CO2 in the air.  Because of this imbalance, we will have to raise the cost of air or Earth will spin off its axis."
